My dad caught me with porn on my desktop

I was meaning to hide it, and he came in and sat down while I was checking my email. For some odd reason, my reflex was to minimize the window and look at my desktop wallpaper, WHICH WAS PORN. He saw it for a second, asked what it was (sounding horrified), and I said my friend set that as my wallpaper and I forgot to take it down (which wasn't true, I put it up). He had never seen me with porn since I was about 13, and now I'm so pissed at myself that I allowed myself to do that. Now I don't know what to say to him if he brings it up again.

Well honestly, it was dumb to make porn your wallpaper.
If you were careful, you would clear your browser history, etc... Not make your wallpaper porn.
Really you get what you get. Hopefully he won't punish you.
Try explaining truthfully. He was your age once.

Yeah, putting porn up as wallpaper was risky!

If your dad was going to beat the daylights out of you or otherwise light the fires of Hell in your briefs, he would have done it already. Just be more discreet.

Alright. Thanks for the advice, guys. I feel better now, and I think my dad just forgot the whole thing. :)

(And I changed the wallpaper to something normal)

I agree with both San and Nick here you need to be more careful about hiding your porn. A porn wallpaper was not the best idea.

Your dad would have said something if he was going to do something so let this go as a learning experience to be very discrete about where you watch porn and how you hide that you have been looking at porn.

No Offense but why watch Porn when parents are in the House?Ask if you can stay at the house by yourself.Your old enough MAYBE mature enough but getting caught watching Porn is Bad and probly Embarrising if it was me Watching it(which i dont) i would have TWO windows up(gaming website if u like games) and your porn website.So if you here them you can exit one out and go to the other one and they wont notice.But also Erasing the History is also pretty easy Just go to the TOOLS by the bar where you type in websites and select Delete Browsing History.
