The planets aligned
The sun, it shines
We live, we breath
And yet a moment we should keep...
With us in our memories
For days and days and days
Withers by unnoticed
And yet no one feels ashamed.
No one cares for anyone
Anyone but themselves
No one can get anywhere
For they're stuck in the pits of hell.
They wonder what this global warming
Phenomena really is
Its the temperature around them
Skyrocketing due to their misdeeds.
Increasing, elevating
To levels before unseen
Burning away their innocence
Punishing them for their greed.
But why must we all
Burn together?
Is all of humanity
Simply one big sin?
Why must it all
Burn away today
Why can't it wait
Till tomorrow, or the next day?
I guess we'll never know
And I guess this goes to show
That with one big mistake
All of our hearts will break...
We'll melt away
Like glaciers to the north
We'll slowly fade
Until we are no more.
Gone forever
For one man's sin
Gone forever
Until we re-begin.
