Anxiety meds??

Hey, I have major anxiety issues. I've been on Wellbutrin, and Celexa, and neither help, Wellbutrin actually made it worse. What meds do you guys take for anxiety? I'm talking to my doctor wednesday, I just want to know how they work for other people.

marijuana if your state allows (Of course only under a doctors prescription)

Don't specifically request any benzodiazepines. Xanax, valium, etc. You're doctor will think you just wanna get high and make it a point to NOT give it to you, although those usually help a lot of people.

I used to take Xanax for my anxiety (I now do not need it as I have overcome my anxiety) It helped a lot except it can have some weird side effects, sometimes I would feel tired the next day and not be able to concentrate on anything.
Talk to you doctor though about your anxiety and see what she/he says, your doctor will know what to give you.

There are a lot of meds out there that effectively reduce or eliminate anxiety, but sometimes it takes a while to find the right one (or combinations). Hang in there, and keep working with your doc.

Celexa made me suicidal but then i wnt on prozak and it works fabulous

i've got a something similar to prozak only alot stronger. so far, so good
