I have this kid who was in my cabin at camp... He lives about 1,500 miles from me, but online he stalks me... He is soo clingy. Every time I am on Aim, he messages me, he tells me about how his life sucks, he tries to get me to see him whenever I am remotely close to where he lives (which happens a lot because my grandparents live mildly close to where he lives). He wall posts me on facebook, he is probably going to go on the same trip at my camp this summer as me... He is annoying and depressing, and seems miserable. I can't find it in my heart to ask him to shut the hell up...

what can I do?

Just sit him down (metaphorically... Probably over AIM :P) and tell him enough is enough.
Tell him that you wouldn't mind still being friends (hopefully it's true?) if he stops being so clingy.
Tell him he doesn't need to message you every time your on AIM, and he shouldn't be asking you to come to his house 24/7

Hopefully he'll understand and you can continue helping him through his problems, but in a less crazy way for you.

Yeah, Nick (as usual) got this.

Talk with him about his behavior, but be polite. He's not doing it on purpose, it's just that he likes you and probably lacks the social skills to know how to interact with you appropriately.

If it continues to be a real problem after the convo, just 'ignore' him on AIM.
