I like this guy and I got his number. So him and my friend were talking and supposedly he doesn't believe that I like him.He wonders why I just won't come up to him and be like hey i like you.But I'm a very shy person. So he told her to tell me to text him and how he ALWAYS replies to texts, even from people he hates like my friend.Yet when i texted him he never texted me back.He got his friend to tell my friend to tell me he left his cell phone at school. That confuses me because you want me to text you and you leave your phone at school. Then the next day he was telling my friend about how he was at football practice for so long and he left his phone in his pe locker. But he doesnt even have pe!LOL!So i'm even more confused about what he is talking about. Then he was telling my friend about how i never talk to him in 8th period.I don't talk to him because I don't believe he wants to talk to me becasue he doesn't act like it.Then he said that that is wrong and he is just a shy person and I have to start a conversation with him.He makes this hard because as soon as he finishes his work he puts his head down.THEN...at lunch he was stares at me for the longest time everyday and I do like him so much and the whole world knows this except for him.He was also saying that if i told him that I liked him that would change his perspective about me because now he just sees me there......

WHAT DO YOU THINK??

I know this whole he said she said crap needs to stop.I will talk to him about it.But I want an OUTSIDE OPINION on the situation because I am so confused....

I agree with your last remark there about the 'he said, she said' stuff needing to stop. All your friends and all that technology (cell phones, txting) is getting in the way.

Do it the old fashioned way, face to face. In the absence of experience with all this dating stuff it might seem easier to avoid eachother by using friends and txting as go- betweens, but it's not getting you what you want, which at the very least is some clarification.

Go up to him and say "Hi!" and see where it goes from there.
