hey everybody. theres this girl ive liked for a long time. we have dated before last feburary, and ive dated a few girls since then but it wasn't the same as when i dated her. me and her are still friends and over the summer we were really close and talked about everything. we learned more about each other after we broke up than we did while we were dating. she told me the reasons why we broke up, like she was afraid of being too serious. we almost were going to get back together over the summer. i found someone else though which i was stupid for doing when i think back now. we just broke up a week a go and i started liking her a lot again. my feelings never really went away for her and they are really strong feelings now. we arent as close now and we text sometimes but not as much. when i told her me and my gf broke up she asked what happened and everything and asked if i thought id be single for awhile. i dont know if thats any type of sign that she likes me or not. idk if i should try and talk to her a lot again and tell her i like her because idk what shed say about it. if somebody could give me some advice thatd be great, thanks.

hey Damien?

well if you have dated this girl before then you will have to focus less about how much you like this girl, and more about why it didn't work before. It will require a fair bit of thinking, but you have to decide whether you will be able to stop those things that tore you two apart last time from happening again. Because regardless of how much you like her, if you think that it wont work then there is no point trying to make them work.

But, if you do think all this through, and you arrive at the conclusion that you two will be able to hold together better this time then go for it. I cant say whether her asking you if you thought you would be single for long is a sign that she is interested cause i dont know the girl, you should just try and be her friend when she needs you and if you get the feeling that she wants something more then ask her out.

Hope this helped,

Dec
