I got the mail today to find a large envelope from Immaculata University with the word Congratulations! written on it. I didn't dare believe it but when I got inside and ripped open the paper I saw that it was indeed my very first acceptance letter.
Seriously, I almost cried.
The last few months have been an unbearable panic of "What if no one accepts me? Then what? I'll live in poverty for the rest of my life and end up a failure with nowhere to go and then I'll die poor and alone with a wasted life!!!"
But now. I at least know I'm going SOMEWHERE. Granted, it's my #3 out of 4 but they're all pretty high. Like on a scale of 1-10, it's still an 8. And my aunt went there and she got a degree in music education with a concentration in voice which is exactly what I'm going for so it's not like I wouldn't do well there.
It's such a load off knowing I've been accepted. Like, I can't even describe it. Of course I'm still waiting for West Chester's reply, which is by far my #1 [on a scale of 1-10, it's infinity] because now I have to worry about class deposits and board deposits and money money money. I should be finding out about need based scholarships from Immaculata in the next week or so, which is cool. I'm hoping for a lot because I'm going to have virtually zero money coming in from my parents except to help pay for books and crap...so yeah.
But I'm just trying to revel in the amazing feeling of acceptance lol.
