Okay, I have not been negitive repped recently, but for some reason, my rep went from 14 to 13.
Why is this?
I don't really care, I'm just wondering what happened.

That rep isn't affected by other people, it's your rep power, so when you give someone rep they get 13, when you give negative rep it gives them -13.
I'd say you probably got rep too early or something and it's been taken back?

It could be that a post you got repped on was deleted or something. I'm not sure though.

Nah then it would just say 'N/A' instead of the post.
Happened to me once and I still kept the rep.
I dont know whats up though...

Your Rep power goes up after a certain amount of posts. Every 1,000? Not sure about the number. And after a certain amount of time. Again, not sure about the exact number.

She said down, not up.
If i'm not wrong, the powers go up by how long and rep points (by 100)
If it went down from (exmple numbers) from 500 to 483, you might loose a rep power
Of course, I could be totally and compleatly wrong..

Sorry I misread that. Oops. I thought it said 'I have been'
Hmmmm. I really don't know why it would go down if you have not received negative reputation. The only way it can is if settings are changed and they have not been.

Maybe one or more threads in which you made several (or many) posts were moved to a forum that doesn't count posts? Or maybe one or more such threads were deleted?
I know that we had a modification installed that prevents vBulletin from subtracting post counts if any posts are removed, but that's not to say that it would prevent vBulletin from recalculating Rep Power if X amount of posts were deleted.
Just a thought.

I thought rep power was only based on post count and time.. so potentially someone with 1 post could have 30 rep power?
Hehe *not going to attempt that*
And which meanie negative repped me for my previous post? :P

No every 50 rep points you get 1 more rep power.

Actually no, rep power is not activated (it doesn't even reach 1) until you get 25 posts.
Your Rep power goes up after a certain amount of posts. Every 1,000? Not sure about the number.
Last time I heard it was 1,000.
Posts were probably deleted. Here's another thought: someone who repped you may have had their account deleted and you lost rep points. I don't know.

Just so you know, if an account is deleted it will still keep the points.
If you had the ability to see who gave you rep, it would show the user as 'N/A'
