zoloft?

how long does zoloft take to work? i've been on it for a month and a half and it really isn't helping depression, just anxiety.... i'm on 75 mg. but they want to bump it up a couple more times... *sigh* i feel like a science project....

It should be working by now. Let them bump it up and if it still doesn't work request a new drug. Don't mention any kind of drug that can be used recreationally, they'll think you just want the good stuff.

Zoloft is fairly fast acting, in less than a month, but you have to be slowly increased to the dose that works. So, you might still be in that process, speak with the doc.

If you're feeling less anxious, it might be working, so don't be impatient. Call the doc and see what the dose increase plan is.

should be working now, a higher dose may be required. I'm on 300mg, so talk to your doctor
