Five feet really isn't that short for a 13 year old...Thirteen year old boys probably have like the biggest difference in height...I've seen some that are like 6 feet and others that are still well under 5 feet....everyone is very different when they are 13 because it's when most boys are starting to get growth spurts and such.

Yeah but my brother than has puberty his 10 he is my heigh and im 13 why is that?

Everyone hits puberty...and different stages in puberty at different times, including brothers. A kid in my class is about 5'10" (he's 19) and his brother is 6'3" and he's like 14 or 15...My cousin is a little taller than me and he's 13, but he has a classmate that is about 5 feet or less. Everyone is different. I'm sure you will grow, and probably rapidly at that. How tall are your parents? That is a decent indication of how tall you could be.

Ah the dreaded " Am I short?" "When will I grow" questions. As we develop into our teenage years our bodies start growing and developing at different rates. This is just how puberty works on an individual. You may be worried about this for you're friends may be taller and such. But no worry, this doesn't mean that you will be short. 5 feet for a 13 year old boy is perfectly normal. Heck even 4 foot is normal. Now genetics are of partial importance in this equation of growth. Things to keep in mind are, is my mom and dad tall or short? Are my siblings short or tall? Kepp in mind that these can relate to how tall you get. But don't worry you're still starting puberty and sooner than you think, you'll be tall and buff.

Honestly, you are a little bit short.
But, luckily, thats not usually considered a 'bad' thing by most kids. They may joke about it, but most of the time they are just kidding, and can be laughed off.

And even if it is a problem, you will grow during puberty. Not a big deal i hope?

You will grow soon some of the kids at my school are 4'5" and I am the second tallest (5'5") at my school and I come from a family of 4Ft people but you will hit a growth spurt and you will grow some what tall

ME TOO!!! im exactly 156cm without shoes and 3rd shortest in my class, coz we hav some one in our class whos about 148cm and he turned 15 not long ago.

Took the words right out my mouth :P. I know this kid in my grade (9th) and we're the same age, I'm 6 foot 1 and he's still like 4 foot 5.. He could pass as a 3erd grader lol. Everyone's different give it time. ;)
