My brother left a My Book 250GB External Hard Drive and he was saying something about it being broken so I connected it to my laptop and whenever I try to get into it, it comes up with this message "".......The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error." It says that it's compatible with "Windows 98SE/Me/2000/XP" but not Vista.
Edit: The hard drive works with my other computer that's XP so I'm guessing because my laptop is Vista, it's not working. Is there a way it CAN work for my laptop?
