I was just wondering, what would happen if you set your HDD and CPUs TEMP really low with a program like SpeedFan? Since having them really hot is bad, what happens if they're like 50 F? What would be a good temp to keep them at?

Well unless you have fans blowing over your drives then you can't really cool them down, and all 5 of my drives are currently running at 32*C, which is fine.

And there is no possible way to run a CPU at 10*C simply by turning up the speed of your fan. Turning that to max will maybe lower the temp by a few degrees, but it will never go below room temperature, the same goes for water cooling unless the water is refrigerated instead of air cooled.

32*C

Which is 89.6*F lol
Wouldnt 50* be harmful?

He meant 50F not 50C.

We're getting a mixture of F and C here lol.

CPU's generally run at 30-65*C (86-149*F) You could run it at -2000*C if you want, it's when it reaches above 65-70*C that it's a bit too hot and could shorten the life of your CPU. Using a fan alone will not cool the CPU down to below room temperature, as all the fan (watercooling included) does is remove the heat away from the CPU.
