I'm feeling the worst I have in... 5 months? I mean, my cutting has never been REALLY bad to the extent of some others here. Just the most were 10 shallow at a time. if deep ... just one. Anyway, now I am feeling like I will snap and go over board.

I am stressed
Too much
Too much pressure
So much going on
Fuck. I don't want to break my streak of safety, but I am freaking out and can't control it. I mean hell, suicide is at the brink, and I won't do it because I know I won't, but I am being urged SO much. I don't know what to do.

Addison, take your own advice: Self control, distractions, therapy. They work for the good people you offer it to, it will work on yourself, too.

It's a long, hard road, with many ups and downs. You have to be prepared for that, and have a plan to deal with the bumps. A little self control, a lot of TLC, and a phone call to your therapist for a quick appt. help.

Maybe try talking to your parents? Or your friends? Or find ne one here (even me if u'd like), and dish everything you need to get it off your chest, becuz rite now it's just weighing you down and eating away at you, making you feel so low and depressed. Just talk, and let it all out, to someone, anyone you trust and who cares about you. It will get better, just hang in there and fight it.

How can "Psych Ward Moderators" help others with suicide and depression, if they attempt it and are depressed themselves? Tell me, what kind of people do psychiatric wards hold?

Who better can help others with problems than someone that has experienced it themselves? No, we are not paid professionals, but we have experience and are able to connect with teens on a more personal level than an adult. If you have anyother questions, feel free to pursue them via PM.

I know it's hard to push your self control, but if you try hard enough you can. Try to do things to occupy yourself, think of things that don't remind you of self harm, go out with your friends, talk to a friend, gossip even. anything to keep you far away from those thoughts. Or think of the many reasons why you shouldn't give in.
