In light of a recent post and a debate on it I just wanted to have a debate on what is better.


Rules:
No foul language
Don't spam
No flaming

I myself prefer linux since I run a lot of servers for DoD: S and CS: S and so on. Linux is very good for that. It also provides good security and smooth running.

Linux is good for hosting, but Windows is far better for mainstream use.

linux

better for hosting

almost no viruses

comes with all the developingtoold you could ask for (c++ compiler, debbuger, etc)

Windows is good for mainstream but linux is catching up you gotta admit to that.

Mac Are Great, Linux isa great for hosting, but i still like microsoft the best its more useable. i have a mac laptop at school, a microsoft runed computer at home and i have used lynux with my dad

i myself prefer linux as it is opensource and i believe we should not pay for something that can be made for virtually nothing
