Brief, Powerful, Waves of Depression

Sometimes i Get Really Really Strong waves of Depression and I'm not Totally sure why i get them.

I mean it's like a mood swing in fact it just may BE a mood swing but Its Really Really Brief.

It makes me wanna kill myself
it Effects my already Sketchy Self Esteem
It really makes me hate the world

Can like someone help me?

i have had one for about 5 hours and this one seems to be caused by a short Period of Extreme Anger towards someone.

Well, everyone feels depressed or stressed, those are normal emotions. But, like every other feeling, they pass. If you feel that they linger, affect your sense of well being or interfere with your life, then it's time to talk to someone. Likewise, if you feel suicidal even for a moment, it's also an indication that you should talk with someone, too.

Adolescence is a time when emotions are felt much more intensely than at other times. That's b/c it's an unfortunate combo of all those new social/bioloigcal pressures and stresses, as well as the brain's continuing to develop and experiencing emotion differently than before. The task is to keep a perspective, keep it in balance so it doesn't push you into a tail spin. Maybe you can talk with some trusted people about your feelings and reactions, maybe you can be aware of those times when you feel particularly vulnerable and have a special plan to take extra good care of youtrself, maybe you can exercise or walk or listen to some music, or some activity that brings you pleasure to counteract those darker feelings. If those do not succeed, find someone to help.

Sorry to say i dont really have that much advice to give you except for the comfort that i get the same thing.
are you on medication? if you are not going on the right ones might help.
