My iTunes is acting up again.

Every time I click on it on the desktop, it brings up a window as if it's installing for the first time, and then it asks me to restart, then I restart, and when I try to open iTunes it does the same thing again.

BUT, iTunes will work if I try to play a video/audio file, or if I plug in my iPod...

WHY is it doing this? Please help.

Mine does it too

Right click the desktop icon
Click "Add to quick launch"

it'll go in the icons on the bottom of the screen. easier to work with

When I do that, the install window still comes up.

Then go through with the instaliation again.

If it's an update, when you plug it in it might be opening with the older version
some computers automaticly update, but you still have to install the version. Dunno why.
