Does anyone know how old you have to be to get one? Has anyone here ever had one before?

Though there is no specific age limit or requirement for it that I am aware of, its up the the descretion of your doctor.

Why do you think you would want one? Assuming that is why you are asking.

I just heard it makes you feel better overall, and I was just curious to see if there was an age limit.

I doubt my parents would let me get one anyway.

Um, unless you have lower digestive problems, there really isn't a great need for one. Plus I am sure it is expensive and to waste money on something you don't need is pointless.

I heard this ad on the radio for this product that cleans you out, something about removing 25 lbs. of waste (and weight), blah blah blah. The problem with these things is that 1)They're powerful chemicals, and 2) when you use an enema, although you're removing lots of fecal matter, you're also pushing a lot of it up further into your colon/intestinal tract, which isn't a good thing.

There's lots of stuff in waste which needs to be eliminated, which is why it's alternately called 'Waste' and the process, 'Elimination', and pushing it up further into your body, even a little amount a little bit, is doing the exact opposite of what needs to happen.

So, unless you have severe constipation and are specifically ordered by a doc to do this, simple eating and drinking lots of H2O, maybe adding fiber to your diet (leafy greens, beans, whole grains, fruits) is just fine, and accomplishes the same purpose naturally and healthfully.
