I'm not sure if i do.
and if i do, i don't want to i just cant help myself.
I barely eat, i don't like to eat junk food and that's all that is available in school caff.
I practically live on coffee or coke.
I do like to eat, and a lot. But i only manage small snacks now and then.
i usually dont eat for long periods of time. Like i dont eat breakfast and i buy a coke to wake in the mornings, i dont eat lunch and wait until i get off school to make myself something small before i go to work or to the gym.
i know it's not healthy, but is it an ED?

In order to have an ED, you must not eat b/c of body image distortions, as in feeling fat (eventhough you're not), and so forth. ED is first and foremost a distortion of self, of the way you see yourself, your body, your weight, and what that means to you.
You might have poor eating habits, but those are more the result of, well, habits, learned behaviors that are completely under your control. That's vastly (and mercifully!) much different than an ED.

Well i do consider myself fat. and i do try not to eat junk because i know it will make me more so.
But i guess its not that big of a deal, since i'm not exactly obssessed with it.

Not eating junk food is a good thing.
And since you consider yourself fat, I doubt you are anorexic. And you haven't mentions taking laxatives, or doing self induced vomiting. It doesn't sound like you ever go on binges, and it seems you simply have a poor diet. Which you should work on ;)
Remember that eating disorders are caused by underlying mental problems; they are mental illnesses, usually brought on by traumatizing events, or a low self esteem.

awww thanks so much.
One worry less on my mind.
I would always look at myself and think i'm so fat,
and then worry i would turn out to have an ED so much better knowing its just a poor diet. which i will work on!
THANK YOU!

There are other reasons...
Anyway, no.
I think you eat very poorly. And if school doesn't offer decent lunches, maybe you should bring your own.
But then again, most people don't eat properly anyway

NOT TRUE. EDs come in many ways. It isn't always about body image. Alot of times its about control. You feel like you can't control everything, so you control what you eat.
What I think, is you may not have an ED. YET. But if this keeps going on you could easily develop one. Start slowly increasing your food intake and get yourself healthy. Feel free to PM me anytime!

thanks.... that's what i was expecting. because i do feel like i might start developing one.
but i am trying. i had a blood test done and i'm only low in iron, which i always am, so they gave me this pills to take.
i am trying to control my diet, but i really dont want to eat when i should or could. But i am forcing myself to eat at least something small.
My mom bought healthy snack for me :]

I think there is something about this advice that is poor, "And since you consider yourself fat, I doubt you are anorexic." Im sorry but this is totally wrong! most people who are anorexic do think they are fat, that is why they become so disgustingly thin, they always think they are fat no matter how much weight they loose. I do not think the op has an eating disorder unless she is doing it to;
A: Control her weight
B: feel like she has control over something in her life.
IMO this may be the beginnings of an eating disorder and you best squash it before it becomes one. It really doesn't matter what you classify it as though because you are not eating in normal patterns and it is very unhealthy for your body. weather you call it an ed or not you still aren't eating a healthy amount. Its good to hear that you are starting to fix you habits though you should be able to put this behind you in no time :)

hun, you are not fat i can tell by your picture. Please just eat healthy portions of food and if necessary get help. You NEED to eat, your body needs nourishment to survive. drinking pop and not eating is one of the worst things you could do for your body. Your body isnt getting the nourishment ans vitamins it needs and it costs your body some of the energy to process the soda and get it out of your system. Even if its hard heat healthy foods fruits and veggies.

Actually when anorexia starts, they start losing weight because they think they are fat. Once they are a normal weight, they continue to not eat because of the fact they are scared to go back to the name calling, etc. Once they get to a point where they are extremely underweight, their brain starts to actually believe and see that they are fat, even if they are not. At that point they consider themselves 'fat' while anorexic, but here she may or may not be at the beginning of an eating disorder. Which would mean if she thinks she is overweight, she most likely is, because her brain isn't to the point where she can't see the fact that shes actually skinny.

i dont think i'm overweight. lets make that clear.
i'm just not skinny. i have fat, and i want to lose it. like any other person with extra would.
that why i train so much and the reason i like to watch what i eat.
but i repeat i dont think i am overweight!

Ok so if that has changed, that's good :D
I just made that statement from what info I had.
