Really the only thing I know to say is to talk to your doctor about it. Your doctor will know much better than almost all of us. Your doctor can prescribe medication etc. to help you out.

P.S. I know a close friend of mine and a close family member that have chrons disease. One of them almost died two weeks ago. Our hearts go out to ya.

Dude I feel for you.

Since you have the disease don't you have a doctor?

If you do, you should see if you can get a script for pain killers when you need them.

Oh, Lou, i'm really sorry to hear this! Anything I can do to help, lemme know. Maybe a warm brownie? Your choice: Dark chocolate or blonde.

OK, Crohn's Disease. I understand your docs reluctance to put a kid on pain killers, but I also thought that some dietary changes help. Google Crohn's and grub around for a while and see if yuo can't find dietary recs. But, before you try anything or make any modifications, talk with your folks (and maybe the doc) and make sure it's OK with them.

My brownies, however, are always OK.

Talk with him about your diet, Lou. Maybe even get a referrral to a licensed nutritionist (someone who specializes in that sort of thing).

dude you really need to drink a lot of water every day. that should help with the pain and make it easier to eat. I think your doctor will tell you something similar.
