My parents did divorce

It kind of hit me, but i didnt really honestly care, just because they hated each other and i want to see them happy. So, right now i am living with my mom and shes sitting here crying all day cause of it. I dont understand how she and my dad both wanted a divorce but shes crying.

It's an adjustment. And eventhough your folks didn't get along, and are perhaps better off now, there's still a sense of loss. Not just over the actual relationship, but also 'what could have been'. It's the loss of what she hoped for, of what she needed, and thought your dad could provide. She didn't envision it ending this way and being alone.

Hopefully, she'll get over it and move on, until then, lots of TLC. For both of you.

This might be a hard time for you as it is with your parents. But I think you need to let them know you are very willing to discuss things with them. Just make sure that they can't use you to discuss matters for them instead of interacting with each other.
