Breast Question

Hey all,
This is a question on behalf of my 16 year old Girlfriend,
She has recently been experiencing sore breasts & nipples,
The feel really sensitive, and yesterday she put the towel over her to dry herself and her boobs were really sore
she also feels that they are out of shape.

We are in a sexual relationship, but she is on birth control pills, and i always wear a condom, so there is no chance she is pregnant.

Could it be her breasts are going through a stage of growth?

Her breasts would appear to be going through a stage of development getting bigger or re shaping the breasts to make them even also thank you for wearing a condom, you wouldn't believe how many people I know who have regular sex and don't that's what spreads STI's so :)

Are they sore all the time? Chances are, they're responding to hormonal changes (either due to puberty and development, or the monthly cycle, or the Pill). If she's on the Pill, there's an MD involved, and she should mention this to him/her.

hi all, thanks for the response.
Her breasts are still sore today, and its is mainly her nipples now, although her breasts are still sensitive. It has been like this for about two days.
She doesnt finish her pill for 8 days, so her periods arent due for 10 days.
Anyone have anymore ideas? Or know how long the pain may last?

breast pain has now gone, although her nipples are still quite sore, although they are getting better.
She doesnt feel doctors is necessary any longer,
any ideas to what it could have been?

Without a doctor, we may never know for sure... Also, the no pain may be temporary.. It could still be quite serious..?

Well i'm just saying to see a doctor to make sure.
I had an aunt whose breasts suddenly started to feel really tender and sensitive and she got them checked and it turned out to be breast cancer.
A visit to the doctor can't hurt?

sometiems birthcontrol makes your boobs get bigger and therefor hurt. or is there any slight way she could be pregnant?
