Hi!! Hehe, it's me Mariisa and this is my poetry thread. X3 I've written like over 40 poems during mid 2007 to now. xD Plus, in another forum I go on: I posted most of my poetry individually and in their own threads but that seemed kinda spammy and sort-of-lame when just one poem thread gets only like 2 - 9 comments/posts most of the time. So I've decided to have this as my one & only poetry thread here on VT. :yes: I'll post one of my poems each day. Hope you enjoy reading my poems.~
Here's one of my many poems! It's called "Healing Heart". :D
Healing Heart
-----------------
I thought it was true friendship...
Yet now I see that it's just a love
That will never truly return to me.
My destiny must mean
That I will have to survive
Through all my lives
Somehow alone eternally.
I vow to not cry anymore,
And if I must someday die...
I want it to be suicidal sacrifice.
A death worth being
Both selfless and selfish...
Saving [a special] someone at the cost of my life
While also having emotional strife.
Yet, that shall come later
For I swear to feel better
And push away the things
That have been hurting me innerly.
