I tire of the way ppl define "emo", "emo" the society defines it includes: Skinny Jeans, Black hair, Black clothes, Black eyeliner, Black Lipstick, A frown, And dark demented talk. AND I AM SICK OF IT. CUTTING DOES NOT HAVE A FACE!

The sick thing is that some people actually adopt this stereotype - cutting and all!

I know. It's not a fashion statement. It's a problem. Those who adopt it as a role, have an issue with themselves that they need to work out

the problem really does lye with the people that try to be emo and adopt the style.

Ugh, yes. I hate this whole stereotype thing. Why can't people realize that they don't have to put everyone into little boxes to understand people. No one will ever completely understand what it's like to be someone else, and we need to learn to deal with that rather than overgeneralizing and offending others.
Also, I suppose it's slightly ironic that I didn't really start cutting until I'd stopped fitting the emo stereotype.
