Lately I have not been getting erections like I use to ... I use to get erections with the slightest brush towards my genitals... or with a glimpse of something erotic or just at the thought of masturbating alone... now It takes me a few minutes to get fully hard of me touching myself.... is this normal or should I see a doctor... Is there a stage of puberty near my age where a man/boy gets less horney??? Should I try laying off the masturbation for a few days ..... Or Is there just something wrong with my genitals.

yeah its normal its b/c your hormone level isnt as high as it use to be a couple of years ago and thats why your erections have gone down

Well this is a sign that your hormones are settling down, meaning that your soon to finish puberty. It's completely normal, and it has to be, everyone goes through this stage. Don't worry about masturbation or your genetals, they're all fine.

Are you daft? Your hormones are settling down so the chances of you getting a boner are getting smaller.

haha daft? I get the whole concept the lower hormones.. but this just recently hit me three days ago, I'm curious on the whole matter, and naturally I feel the need to seek explanations.

As long as you can obtain and maintain an erection, you're OK.

That instant erection thing is really a part of early puberty. As you get older, your penis responds to specific stimulation, as it should. It's like a bright light shining into your eye, it causes the iris to constrict. Now, your penis works only when it's 'supposed' to, when it's specifically stimulated for erotic purposes, not randomly as it used to.
