It is a natural urge and it is not wrong. I really hate how that sounds so blunt

Corinthians 6:18-20
18Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. 19Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.
1 Thessalonians 4:3-8
3It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; 4that each of you should learn to control his own body[a] in a way that is holy and honorable, 5not in passionate lust like the heathen, who do not know God; 6and that in this matter no one should wrong his brother or take advantage of him. The Lord will punish men for all such sins, as we have already told you and warned you. 7For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. 8Therefore, he who rejects this instruction does not reject man but God, who gives you his Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 5:3-7
3But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people. 4Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. 5For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a man is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.[a] 6Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient. 7Therefore do not be partners with them.

In Christianity, lust is not just a physical representation of sexual desire, but mental to. And when masturbating, it is being lustful. So, thinking of sexual things is a sin. A lot of verses out there (Mat. 5:28) talk about that.
Now, a deeper reason than a simple command. When you masturbate, you are putting something to be more important to you than God. Showing your control is a way to feel closer to God. Like Lent, many christians give up something they highly value to help show a dedication to God. Also, by giving up masturbation, you can release the grasp that sin has on your life. Think about it, if you could train yourself to respect women and not feel dirty for looking at them dirty because you wouldn't be looking at them dirty in the first place.
Not trying to start anything, just saying what the Bible says.
Now, these aren't my direct views, but they are what I know.

well I'm no christian even though i was born and raised in a church i couldn't follow along. and the guilt, well yes its probably coming from your religion as some do look at it in shame. but thats there opinions you could compare a billion different priest ministers and other religious holders. and all there teachings be different, but i did get a chance to go to a church camp and i my roommate came in and he had his go to person in there with him. thy started talking about how it feels to be under a religion and masturbate, but after they went through all there concerns and topics they found out that it's fine and most men in the religion do it in and or out of a relationship. if you honestly have so much guilt from it you know talk to one of your friends at church, try t make it someone u really know though and just start off the conversation as "you know i got a little curious..." and worst comes to worst as he says no i don't so that stuff ( most likely a lie ) and u get a little embarrassed. ok enough sappy story but yes all that is norma ad you shouldn't be ashamed. ( wooo that was a mouthful ) hope that helps

Hence the part of self control. You can stop it. If you say that you are unable to stop masturbating, you have terrible self control. Its temping, I know, all men know. And we all sin, but the point is to strive to do your best. And sin is sin no matter the age.

dude your fine, :) i promise if it really bothers you talk to someone even if it is going to be really awkward to talk to your youth minister, you know he may bring a topic up with your boys youth group at church that they all struggle with. he probably wont say ya go ahead its fine, but he was a teen once too and he will understand.

I am not a christian. But I was once. But just think of the time when the bible was written. At that time, people would preach out the rights of god. They could have made things up.. But also consider this. The bible was not written by god, the 10 commandments were. In which it says nothing like "thou may not lust" or whatever. Its fine to masturbate. Billions do. Animals even! They cant read or right. But according to you they are disobeying "gods will" and thus, will be sent to hell without knowing anything about whats been happening. I wouldn't feel guilty about it, But if you truly want to stop then in order to tackle the urge you will need a lot of things to keep you amused. There, hope that helped.

Well i understand the guilt but i before i started to masturbate my penis would pre-cum ALOT and i would be erect so often it would pang painfully. Plus you have your own relationship with the lord, the bible isnt a rule book its a guide/ a helper/ an assisstant. Like Zan0ra said the bible could be edited, changed, God didnt write it himself. (Lots are saying this in other forms too, including me :p) Building up and not realeasing sexual enegry is like bottling up an emotion, not healthy. Doing a little "you time" with your hand and penis can help so much and not have your sexual energy go mis directed.

This comes up a lot.
Everyone needs to decide for themselves what's 'moral', but often they confuse 'moral' with 'punishing'. I think that's what happens with the whole masturbation thing. It's a distortion of religious beliefs which I believe comes from an insufficient understanding of Doctrine. And, regardless of your religious beliefs, if you speak to someone of religious authority they'll be surprisingly open minded about masturbation.
Here's my take on it: Masturbation results from a normal biological drive. It's not something that's realy conscious. Sure, you're aware that you're doing it and all, but the drive to do it is entirely biological, like blinking. I'm not sure how something biological can be considered 'immoral'. Issues of conscience usually arise from the conscious choice, not things beyond our control that are caused by biology. Perhaps it's b/c masturbation (and the fantasies or images used) are so enjoyable. There's no sanction against enjoyment in the Bible, religion isn't a bludgeon, afterall! Your sexuality is part of your humanity. It was given to you for a reason, other than to torment you.
As long as masturbation doesn't interfere with your other responsibilities or get in the way of your committments, as long as you live your life productively, as long as your a good person, I think it might be best, then, to see these urges (and the masturbation tht results) as just a natural part of who you were intended to be.

I have read all of the posts here and I agree with Nejix and IamSam.
I felt guilty when i was your age because of the Religion Issue but i resolved that because of my own relationship with God.
We are human beings and most important we are teenagers. Our body and mind is changing constantly and we have this complex emotions, desires and stuff that may confuse us a little, specially in the Religion Aspect but we are not priests so we can enjoy to very important things that God has given us:
Our liberty and Privacy.
Our relationship with Jesus. (Or your way to call God...)
