Any Thoughts?

So I don't really like boys. Every once in a while I'll date one, but truly, I just see them as friends mainly. I feel completely different when it comes to girls and I've come to terms with it. So I'm basically 9/10 for girls. And I'm fine with what I am because it's me. But lately people keep telling me there's something wrong with me. Like, a particular person told me that it was unnatural because in nature men are with women. I don't believe in god, but I do believe in science and I was wondering, is the reason I like girls because of some genetic defect maybe? I hate seeing it that way, but does anyone know anymore about the matter? I hate feeling crappy and "unnatural" because things like this never used to bug me. Still, even if it's because I'm sick I'll always like girls.
Well, any thoughts?

Well it sounds like you could be gay but possibly bi. If you really want to know if you are gay you will have to experiment with a girl to see if you like it.

Have you done anything with a guy?

I suggest doing something with both a guy and a girl to see what you like best.

Unnatural? You're still a teenager! Give it some time. Being a teen means we're all works in progress.

Teenagers are notoriously insecure, all those changes means that there's much less tolerance for things/people that are 'different'. So, in order to deal with the insecurity, many try to change the person who doesn't conform. It says more about them than you.


Regardless of what you like now, or why you like it, or what it means (now or later), the point is it's who you are, and that's just fine. I don't know about the 'unnaturalness' of things, but it seems perfectly reasonable for you to naturally want to be who you are. Without needing the approval of anyone else. Just be open to the idea that eventhough whatever that is now, it's subject to change as life progresses.

And yes. I've done things with both guys and girls.
I just don't enjoy boys usually which soounds harsh.
