I'm depressed and had a thought of suicide, but I love life, please, help me! What can I do to make it go away?

You've really answered your own problem. You said "I love life" this tends to mean that you have something to live for, you know it, you know that there's loads of amazing things out there in the big wide world.
When your depressed or going through a rough spell, and lets be frank we all do, suicide is NOT the first option. In fact in my book it's never an option.
Maybe if you tell us what's making you feel depressed then we might be able to give you a better response for feeling better than this crap which I'm writing. :-)
YOu don't have to say why your feeling down, but it would help. :-)

Okay, there's three main stages of suicide that I see.
1. Think about it, but would never do it
2. Contemplating how, but hope to never go that far
3. Planning on who what when where etc.
To me, this sounds like 1. Because you love life, you don't want to, and you seem to want help which is great.
A lot of the times, just like Requin said, people go through rough spells. Now, to get out of these spellls is the trick. I often suggest maybe picking up a new hobby, changing your daily routine, or doing something different each day to make each day unique, disticnt, and different. This may seem silly, but it can do loads to break up and seperate your days. Often what happens in these rough spells is the days seem to run together, so you need something to make each day unique. Maybe is a word of the day. Idk. Whatever works for you.
Now, if these thoughts intensify or you are literally scared for your life, you need to talk to an adult. This can range from a counselor, a nurse, a doctor, a teacher, or especially your parents are important. They can help get you help. And opening their eyes to a behavior change will be good because these are people that you would see on a regular basis. Especially with the teachers and parents. What sometimes happens when people get worse psychologically, their attitude, appearence, and behaviour start to change. And opening their eyes to notice that will be a good thing to keep you safe.

A thought of suicide? Nothing wrong with thinking about it. Any human being who hasn't thought about suicide is probably not human or living. It's a good sign that you love life. If you begin to actually plan the suicide THEN you should start worrying.
But it's good that you love life. Just remember depression is just as much a part of life as anything else. Perhaps you could learn to love your depression too. :)
If you can, go into further detail about these "thoughts of suicide." What exactly did you think? Also, what do you think is the cause of your depression? Did something happen to you? Did something not happen to you?

Talk it out with someone! Nothing reinforces life more than the living. Find someone you trust, and talk with them, be with them, let them listen to you and counsel you and soothe you.
If that doesn't work for you, then it's time to find a profesional who can sort thru the causes of your feelings and help find a solution.

Heres my advice.
if you love life and almost commited suicide mabye something happened to change what you think?
nonethless the best thing to do is live because if you do love life than you would not want death to win so you cannot give up because death loves it when people give up.
So please keep hanging on :)

im glad to hear u love life! thats brilliant! hey, try focus on the things that u enjoy the most and the good parts of life, dont let anything or anyone get u down, if it is someONE thats tormenting u, then they're only doin it because they're jealous of u and ur personality. also, dont get too worried about the future or past, live life now, enjoy it! and remember that ur special and unique, no one else in the world is like u.
