I have started getting really embarrased when I get changed in my home, I would usually change anywhere in the house in front of anyone but since I started puberty at around 10 I have confined myself to my room and I make sure that nobody can get in now when I'm in the bath as apposed to when I was in like year 5/6 and when I have a bath I take clothes in there to change instead of getting changed in my room however I've only just noticed myself doing this - has anyone else noticed that they do this or is this a really stupid thing to say?

That is completely normal. In fact, I do the same thing. Have you noticed any adults in your family change their clothes in front of you? Didn't think so...

It's completely normal. Teenagers have a certain insecurity about themselves for some reason. Especially boys, girls aren't too bad, but boys in puberty find it hard to 'show' themselves shall we say? To other people.
There's nothing wrong with it, people are different, all families behave in different ways towards each other, some are more together, others are quite distant while some are trusting and share secrets and stuff with each other (such as puberty questions)
So there's nothing to worry about. :-) Your not alone.

It is completely normal. Even I have gotten more private since puberty. I think that happens to everyone.

Funny you should ask that question.
I stopped letting my parents see me even in underwear when I was about 10 or 11. Anybody else in the world could see me. I didn't care. Just not my parents.
Well, just lately I decided to do something about it and I started walking around in my underwear in front of them. I think they are getting used to it, and so am I. I might try going naked, not sure yet.

yeah. when i was like 13 i bathed with my boxers still on... i was so scared of one of my family members seeing me naked. but now i just really don't care lol the reason i was scared/embarrased was because i was growing. so now i don't but i have been embarrased about it.

Girls can be just as insecure as boys, you know.
I think it's completely normal to stop changing in front of other people. When I was in year 6, most girls would just change openly for swimming, but I'd be hiding behind my towel. It depends on who you are as an individual, and there's nothing to worry about.

I'd only let my mother, or my friends (whilst we're changing for PE), see me in my bra. Anyone else, and I'd be hiding.
