To be honest, a couple of years ago I would have found this gay, but I've matured. What's more, I recently joined a gym with one of my closest friends and we alway's go into the showers nude just like everyone else. Over time, you just realise how stupid a comment 'that's gay' is.

If it's just showering then no. If I go to a public gym or even the gym at university, I'll use the shower there. I'm there to take a shower not to bang whoever is there. Besides, if they see my junk, so what? Besides, you've got a penis, he's got one. Nothing spectacular should be expected. Perhaps if you had a STD or some horribly deformed penis or such then I could see a possible reason to shy away. I find it immature to say it's gay. That's like saying if you're at a pool in your swim trunks and other guys are in their swim trunks, if you look at one of the guys, that's "gay".

I would shower with strangers that are younger or around my age, but not older (eg. dads age). I wouldnt like to shwoer with any of my friends either.... that would be awkward. No its not gay.... it stops being 'gay' when you mature.
