Body itches

Hey, i was wondering if anyone can help me, as this is driving me mad. Mostly when im in the bath (or sometimes when im not) i get these incredible itches, that need to be sawed on with a towel to satisfy. They always seem to originate around my groin, but spread all over my chest and back. Theres nothing in the bath, so it can't be an allergy (unless im allergic to water:what:) ANyone got any ideas? Thanks x

Hmms, how long has it been happening, could just be a body phase, try not to itch and put some cream on it, try sum E45 cream to stop the redness and the soreness afterwards.

Wow, that was FAST. Theres no redness unless i itch it, and its been happening for the last year i think? I usually shower so im not sure if its only when i bath or what.... im 15 going on 16

No, it starts off as like prikles on my skin, but gets so bad that it makes me go crazy, seems to wear off as the water dries...

Try another kind of soap or shampoo. I know I have to use a special soap because normal soap irritates my skin.

I don't use soap or shampoo in the bath, i thought that it was the cause but it still itches.. Could it be new hair growing, like when u shave?

Edit: as some people missed the point, i shower every morning, but this never causes the same itches, sometimes in the evenings i bath as well, then the come.....

Hmmms, i'd go to a clinic, they're private and actually, theres nothing to be ashamed about, go to the doctors and ask to see a nurse and explain ur situation and they'll give u sumit!

3 things come to mind. Either there's something in the H2O, like a redicue from whatever your mom cleans the tub with, OR you're reacting to the temp of the H20 (try changing it), OR you have some little skin nasty there that is reacting to being submerged in the H20. Look carefully at the affected area before the bath and see if it's red, or smells, or if there's anything unusual about it.

i get that itching too mate, its natural man, some people get it, my mate does too. it is the sweat from your paws of your skin conflicting with the heat of the water in the bath that caises the itch :)

Get something like a VERY dry sponge and rub all over, I think you probably just need to be exfoliated

you could be allergic to shampoo? conditioner? body wash? that you use...try a different brand and see what happens...no worries bro
