I just told my mum everything, and I mean everything. I told her about how my ex (Steve) used to rape me on a very frequent basis, how I was groomed by a hebophile and about my apparent developing case of BPD.

Yes, I was under the influence (am under the influence) but, the main thing is that I told her. She was shocked. I feel bad about keeping her shut out until now, but it was very good that I told her. I think she understands a bit more about why I've had such trouble now.

She was very understanding. God, if I knew that she was going to be like that then I would have told her a while ago! Lol. I think I'm still in a bit of shock myself!

She said to me this morning that she was very glad that I had told her. She has said that if I encounter any more problems then I can/should ring her and she'll help out. I am so grateful and relieved that I nearly cried.

I'm almost crying now, just thinking about it! Lol.

I am still a bit shocked that I was able to tell her. But, this is a good start. With her support, I will be more able to heal properly.

Don't be so sure. I didn't tell my mum for about 2 and a half years because I thought that I knew how she'd react - that she wouldn't have believed me or made me look like a manipulative bitch.
