I'm not sure what "Extremely underweight" means. Did he run some blood tests which indicate that your body is actually deficient? If not, then it's more of an appearance issue, esp. if you feel Ok.
As long as you're eating regularly and properly, what you mgith due to bulk up your appearance is to start exercising large muscle groups, esearch around for a good, easy work out that you can begin (and stay with consistently), and you'll develop some muscle mass which will round out your appearance.
Eating to 'get fat' isn't a good idea, nor is it particularly healthful, esp. if the doc didn't find a metabolic problem or if you feel OK the way you are.

Define "extremely" under weight, it's too vague of a term and vagueness doesn't help. You say you eat and snack all the time but what are you eating and how big are the portions? If you want to gain weight, I'd suggest to do in by gaining more muscle rather than fat. Not only will you gain the weight but you'd probably be more confident, get girls easier, etc... . Think about it, most girls would want to lie on a 6-pack of abs rather than a beer gut that just downed a 6 pack of beers.
