Shaving..What do I do?

Well, I'm gay, and I have decided that when i finally get a happy trail, to shave it. But do gay guys shave their pubes too? And do they shave there thighs and legs to???? I don't know. Please help

Your sexual orientation shouldn't make you decide whether to shave or not. That is a personal preference. If you don't want a certain part of hair on you, shave it off.

I completely agree with this post, and one's sexual orientation really should not impact whether one shaves off his body hair or not. As mentioned above, personal preference and not what other people think should influence what you do with your body hair. Some people may shave it because they find hair annoying while other keep it because it is not too bad. In the end of the day it is totally up to you what you do with your hair, and your being gay really does not determine whether or not you should have hair or not. After all, there are both hairy and hairless gay guys out there just like there are the same for straight guys, too.

No it is okay to shave your legs. It actually feels kinda nice as the hair starts to grow back and it rubs against your pant legs.

Well buy any razor disposable work well for shaving legs. If your legs are really hairy then i suggest trimming the hair first. Trimming the hairs will keep the razor from getting all gummed up with hair. It will also let the blade stay sharper while shaving.

Well to trim you could use a beard and mustache trimmer, a body groomer, hair clippers or scissors but that will take a while.

look try shaving if you didnt like it then stop shaving and i shaved my happy trail once and i didnt like it so i let it grow back and just buy razors or like i do make your boyfriend buy them for you and how old are you, you seem young by the way you ask this questions and etc.

The poster is asking for information here. Having your boy friend buy you razors has nothing to do with his question. Also age has nothing to do having leg hair.

Irishdude695 could be an early bloomer and wants to get rid of his leg hair.

I think it is kinda sexy that a guy shaves his legs.

Athletes shave their legs for various reasons, just remember it is your choice to shave or not and feel free to ask me questions about shaving if you want.

I absoluetly hate having leg hair. Well not that much but its just much smother. But i wouldnt want my parents or brother to make fun of me or anything and it would be weird to ask them to buy a shaver. hmm.. i have an electric shaver will that work?

As for removing body hair it would be too tedious to use an electric shaver as an electric shaver really is designed for small areas like one's face. At this point don't worry about what your parents or brother think about your shaving your body hair as you are not doing anything wrong or freaky doing so. As Handsolo mentioned above, plenty of guys shave their body hair such as athletes, and you only need to look at swimmers or professional wrestlers to see men who shave. If push comes to shove and your family actually gives you a hard time (which is unlikely), then simply say you want to look like a professional athlete.

The way you remove your hair entirely depends upon how hairy you are. If you are not very hairy, but have enough hair to be annoying, then use a Gillette disposable rasor and have plenty of shaving cream. Taking a warm shower or bath prior to shaving is best so that you can more easily remove your hair. However, if you are really hairy, then you should really invest in a body hair groomer such as the following manufactured by Wahl: http://trimmers.wahl.com/body_view.cfm?ID=16 What I would do in the short run is go to your local discounter or drugstore and pick up a package of disposal rasors by Gillette and some shaving cream to deal with your hair for now. As you save up money, then I would invest in a body hair groomer which will make things much easier on you. Assuming you are 13+ no one is going to give you a strange look for buying rasors, and use the self checkout lanes if you are truly self conscious.

Well I am glad that our advice did help you. Good luck with shaving it though. If you don't really have a lot of hair yet, it will be easy to shave and maintain.

Well you decide,but in my opinio you should not shave your legs and all
It's a real trouble and you don't have anything to gin from it
I mean you should shave it all the time cu if you leave it not shaved for some time it wil keep growing and growing
and the hair won't b so soft after shaving-it will be hard
and the whole view will be awful(at least till now i haven't met anyone who likes it)
generally you don't have to gain anything from it
but you do have from the pubic hair
well i recommend not shave it but trim it(cut it with a pair of scissors)
in that way you won't have accidents(ALL my friends that shave it get cut and all,blood's running,etc)
and also in that way you won;t have to do this so soon
i mean if you shave it,the hair will grow faster than it does if you trim it
and the whole view of the genitals having little hair is a LOT better than the view without hair at all

u have some gay dudes that do shave all the hair off there body its up to u though
