The Sims 3, (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sims_3) apparently coming out February 20, 2009!

Who's excited for it? Any thoughts?

Looks nice. I like all the new features to personalize the Sims. I had a problem with that with the last go around. The enviroment interaction never really interested me because whenever I went out my persons health plumitted.

The Sims 2 was pretty awesome comared to the original sims, so I hope the Sims 3 will be just as awesome!

and he lives in georgia, the sun must rise around 6 or 7 there..:D


and a sidenote: The Game looks nice, better then the sims i have now. with that many friggin' expansion packs..

I have all Expansion Packs for the Sims 2 except Apartment Life. And I actually am thinking of getting it before the Sims 3 comes out.

Does that make me seriously insane?

I am, all the other Sims games were just awesome, so I suspect this one will be awesomer.

I cant wait for it to come out! Though it was annoying how a few months ago they discontinued the sims2 and I couldnt get another copy :( So waiting for this to come out. :D

I've seen nothing on it being delayed though I have read on IGN and such, nothing on it being delayed.

Looks good. Being a sims virgin...I won't know if it's as good as the other two.

For those that don't believe there is a delay check out http://www.thesims3.com Click on one of the news feed things and scroll down to "New ship Date".

I'm probably just going to download it with a torrent... So I probably won't get it till a few days after it comes out.

It's been delayed though... Sucks

Edit: Just checked it. June 2 guys. Over 3 months till U.S. shipping

Aren't torrents pirateing. You better watch what you say because I have an itchy report finger. If you are using it for games i guess it is. Ea has a special pirate reporter function. I am not afraid to push it.:mad:

Torrents themeselves are not illegal, it is sharing the files inside which is the illegal part, if they are copyrighted, then it's illegal, if not then it's legal. :)

The good (i guess) part is that they are copyrighted. I feel so good being able to help EA so they can make good games by actually BUYING their games.

I've never tried a Sims game before. I've been meaning too, but it's always slipped my mind. Maybe I'll get the previous two and I'll see about getting the third.

Get this, I was excited...because the Sims 3 was supposed to come out on my birthday, February 10th. I was excited! So then when I heard they moved it to the 2nd of June, I was outraged. I will still buy it, I'm just anxious. I CAN'T WAIT. It looks like it has extremely better graphics than the first two.
