My discharge is yellow and is very heavy wat is wrong with me :confused:

I am 17 and since I got my period the day before my 13th b-day

does it only happen sometimes or all the time

um it smells a little but its not noticeable

it seems like you might have an infection or something along those lines
id get it checked out if i were you especially if it has been going on since you were 13

Hmm.. If this has been going on since you got your first period... It could just be the "normal" discharge for you. If it started getting heavier, changed colour or started to smell really bad, all of a sudden then I'd say it was possible for you to have some kind of infection.

I remember this girl [from 'Embarrassing Bodies'] had told the doctor about very thick and smelly discharge so they took some tests. It turned out that it was being caused by cleaning herself too often. So, it's not always the worst case scenario.

If it's causing you discomfort of any kind or it does start to get worse [amount, colour, smell] then you should definitely get checked.

You may still want to get checked anyway - to be safe. :)

Err.. Just like with soap and water, I guess. But it was too often, like twice or more a week. And that washed away the good bacteria that helps keep you naturally clean. So she started to produce thicker, smellier discharge and it sort of got into an annoying cycle. Like this:

Discharge ~> Clean ~> More discharge ~> More Cleaning ~> Even more discharge ~> Etc

So... That could be a reason for your situation, what do you think? But like I said, I do think it could just be your norm. Everyone is different. Some are luckier than others in puberty. Sort of like how some people get really bad body odour or spots or whatever and others don't.

Just stay aware of changes.
