ORANGE COUNTY, FL -- An Orlando TV station reported Thursday that DNA results of hair and a stain found in the trunk of Casey Anthony's car indicate her daughter, Caylee, is dead.
According to WFTV, the information was provided by a source close to the investigation.
This latest revelation follows reports on Wednesday that samples taken from Casey Anthony's car indicate that, at some point, there was a decomposing body in the trunk.
Earlier this month, the Orange County Sheriff's Office sent air samples taken from the trunk to the University of Tennessee's Body Farm for analysis.
The car was found abandoned in an Amscot parking lot.
In a related development, bounty hunter Leonard Padilla told WFTV he has started the process of having Casey's $500,000 bond revoked. He said he's now determining how to proceed and hopes to begin the process today or tomorrow.
He said he's received numerous death threats against Casey since the DNA news broke and feels she will be safer in jail.
Casey reportedly has been offered limited immunity if she will help detectives find Caylee. But the offer has a time limit. It's not clear what the offer of limited immunity amounts to.
Caylee Anthony was reported missing in July. Casey was jailed after being charged with child neglect and lying to investigators. Padilla posted the bond for her release last week.
