Exposure In Movies

Why do you think for almost all movies it's okay for woman to be naked in movies but men are ALMOST never naked? I just think thats kind of odd.

What do you guys think about that?

Mos movies you watch are probably aimed towards guys, like James Bond. I'm sure more guys would like to see a naked woman rather than a naked guy.

My opinion on it is I'd like to see more non sexual nudity in movies IF it fits the story
like I'd rather they don't go out of there way to make sure its not there (camera angle, furniture, plant...etc..)
to help the public in general get over it

Well im bi and I've seen a "girl movie" one was sister hood of the traveling pants 2 my friends forced me to watch. It had a GORGEOUS guy in it practially as naked PG-13 would allow.His butt,chest,legs, feet, theighs were shown. Also in some Bring it on lots of the guys are stripping alot. And a show i watched called "about a girl" had guys practically naked a whole lot. H well it seems more guys are naked or half-naked in "girl movies" where it is aimed. Its just the movie you see is all.

A. its more difficult to convince a mainstream actor to appear naked because well, men are usually more self-conscious of their penis than women are of their breats. Think about it. Women wear low cut shirts and push up bras. Men try to hide their erections.

B. I think parents are lot more uptight about a young woman seeing a man's exposed penis than a parent would be for a boy seeing a womans boob.

C. Whats the point? I don't see the point of nudity in films unless truly called for. Like, having a dialogue scene in a shower just to put some ass on the film, is bullshit. The dialogue could be performed in a park. With clothing.

I actually think I see guy butts more often than girls in movies

If you mean breasts to penis ratio, well it should be different, they are much different in levels of sexuality

I see nothing wrong with throwing such things into movies if it helps with sales... After all, these are not kind souls who put countless hours of work merely to spread joy to the masses. Sure, some are like that, but it's always about the money, in some way or another. ; )

It's because sex sells. A long time ago, people would have found it extremely awful to see a naked woman or naked man in a movie. Now, society is more leaned towards sexual desires, lust, etc..

I think it's because most actresses are more open to sexual scenes in movies and that's why you see exposure in movies. Don't get me wrong, a naked woman in a movie is fine, but I don't want full nudity where you see nearly half of the genitals. Brief nudity is fine with me. It's just when it becomes full blown that I just hate it.

This depends on who you're talking to. Some groups are all against women being naked and such in movies while others support it and some just don't care. I'm on the side of supporting it if the women want to. There are plenty of movies of males being naked, and people for and against that.

But the main reason for women is simple: sex sells. In a beer commercial, would you rather see a bunch of hot girls parading around naked or a bunch of hot guys parading around naked? I'm siding with the girls.

No, it's not odd at all. Pornos have plenty of men and women naked. james bond has women naked or stripping down and such, as well as good ol' james by sean conery (not sure on spelling) being half-naked and such. Our society has a large factor of sex, and naked women > naked men for the majority of movies, ads, and such. It's been like that for a while, although there are many exceptions to that.

If you go about and analyze it, it'll depend on the movies you watch. Thinking about it, many guys are also given the "ass-shots" and such, not only girls but you'd pay more attention to the females as that's what you're attracted to.
