Well it's really a matter of preference. Some people, like me, can't see any point in shaving your pubic hair. But it is your choice, and if you do want to do it, then fine

Just make sure you do it properly, do a search on here and there's a guide or something somewhere that tells you how to do it properly. As if you do it wrong, you could end up being very itchy and irratable down there. Just a warning. :-)

Personally I just leave it.
But if you want to shave it, go ahead.
Its all personal preference, but remember- once you shave it it'll take some time to grow back, so really think about it
But then again, it's not a big deal.
It all comes down to whats comfy for you

what do you guys trim it with? scissors or a razor or like a hair trimmer?

Hair / beared /Body trimmer with a space guide (no 3 or more) will leave you with some hair but stops it from getting in the way / sweating and also prevents it from itching when it grows back which saving does.
oh and the guide stops anything from getting caught on the sharp bits!
These are loads that can be got quite cheap from argos but I don't know what the texan equiverlant of that is!

Alot of girls prefer it shaved, because when they go down on you they don't have to spit hair out of their mouth. Personally my fiancee wont even touch down there if there is hair. I would def shave it broski. But remember to have a moisturizer, it gets really itchy after you shave it.
