Alright, so I've been 19 years old for about 2 months and I'm getting a little tired of not looking my age. I hit puberty at about 14-15 years old and by now only have pubic hair and hardly any leg hair or armpit hair--- I've shaven once and my happy trail is only just beginning to form (2 long hairs and the others darkenning). It's not even something that goes down to being naked (first off, I've never compared with anyone and don't plan to) because it is clearly visible that I have not yet matured. The worst thing is, I'm already 6'1.5" and I don't particularly want to get any taller.

So how more time should I expect before I start looking more my age? How long did it take for other people to start shaving regularly? Will I necessarially get taller?

Its embarrasing at times when I get made fun of because my legs are so smooth and it has put a big dent on my self esteem for many years; so I'm really just tired of the situation.

O, and another question: Am I growing at the right rate? It seems to me like I'm growing much slower than my other friends.

well im in the same boat actually. im eighteen and I started a bit before you like around thirteen or fourteen but I too dealt with the "do you shave your legs?" comments. I still dont have much leg, arm or pit hair and not a happy trail to be seen. dont shave but maybe once a month? maybe. and im only 5'6", and I believe that at 6' anything I would not worry that i am growing slower than all of my friends. It will just take us a bit longer than everyone else. Hang in there, we'll make it!
