Ok so after spending uhh 20 minutes typing this paper I try to save it and i get the following error . . it closes and then doesnt repsond; i open up another word document and start typing again. About half way thru i decide not to let teh same mistake happen so i save half way . and it has done the same thing .. can anyone explain wtf this means and how i can fix it because i REALLY dont want to have to type it a third time to find out if it iwll work

^^^ or you can reinstall your C++ runtime library if reinstalling word doesnt help

Eh, reinstalling your MS Word or your VC++ libraries would help. But unless it's an internal corruption of the libraries, then it might be malware or some virus. Try to do a scan to fix problems, then try updating your computer, and if nothing else works, reinstall Word.

Anyway, does this happen randomly, or does it happen only when you do something specific, like clicking a certain button or typing a certain letter?

it happend when i was trying to save it.. its the first time it has ever happened

Just type something short, like a sentence, and then save it. If the same thing comes up, then you should take action, and if not, then you probably just ran the system too long and had a bunch of memory leaks. Errors are bound to happen once in a while :?

I don't really see why you would even complain about this unless this happened in succesion :what:

it did.. it happened TWIC E.. it happend the first time when i was completeley finished and the second time when iw as half way thru with it and wanted to save it before iw as allf inished to save me the agony of if it actaully did do what it did do heh
