I've heard of something called blue balls and I don't know if that's your problem or not. It's very painful and goes away after a couple of days and after j/oing

I believe a build up of sperm in your testicles can make them hurt.
Is it possible that this is the cause?

Listen, testicles can hurt for a lot of reasons, but it usually has nothing to do with sperm production or release. And, there's really no such thing as "Blue Balls', it's slang for the unpleasantness of expecting orgasm but not getting one, it's an emotional thing, like disappointment. When you're excited, if you don't ejaculate, all that *stuff* goes back to where it came from, there's no real physical 'pressure'. Likewise, sperm production is an automatic thing, when there's a set amount, it stops. So, there's no pressure there from 'too much', either, since there's never a 'too much'.

Your testicles probably hurt (ache is perhaps more accurate), because of the way you might have them positioned in your underwear, or how you sat or moved. Maybe they got hit? Nothing serious, the only real time pain is really indicative of a veeeery serious condition is when the testicle itself twists all the way around on it's cord (testicle torsion), and you know when that happens because the pain is excruciating and the swelling really noticeable. Anything else is probably nothing to worry about.
