i believe most guys do. im 18 as well and i have for a long time. there was the bit in there were i didnt wan t peers to see my lack of underarm hair (which is still quite lacking) but i see no problem with it, and most guys do sleep shirtless i believe.

well i dont see that as a problem, actually i have a lot of thick and long armpit hairs. i dont mind people when they see it specially when im shirtless sleeping with friends.

It's not a bad/good thing, it's just a choice. I think some do it to claim some sort of wierd alpha-male macho manhood type thing.

It depends on the weather and temperature of my room. If it's hot outside and inside the room, then no shirt unless I want to wake up relishing in a nice sweaty t-shirt. If it's colder outside and inside, then a shirt. My room is fairly warm all the time (as I don't open the windows at all), yet I still may wear a t-shirt. Always wear boxers and thin shorts, no socks.
