well, guys i need to ask a question about love. well the person i'm in love with is a really good friend.....but she's going out with someone else...is itwrong to be jealous? and when they break up how long should i wait till i tell her my feelings? see i'm very shy and i just don't know how to tell her when the time comes what should i say?

And how long you should wait...depends on her, I guess.
On when she moves on.

This situation is totaly on you, i was in the same situation you were a couple months ago, not im in an ever worse one, but thats a whole nother point, but yeay my best friend was dating some other guy, and i was completely jealous, i still kinda am, but you gotta let her know how you feel, if she feels the same way, the that rules, if not then just let her know you still want to be best friends, but on what to say, just be yourself tell her how you really feel, speak from your heart, sure your might get shut down, but isnt that what makes love so great?

Jealousy is natural, it's that sense of 'Why not me?!', it's a kind of loss at not having what you want.

If she's a good friend, I think the real q is why haven't you told her how you feel before now? But, whatever the reason is, I think it best to tell her now (eventhough she's seeing someone else). Love is an intense feeling best shared, when you don't there's the chance it will get in the way of your friendship, she'll sense your jealousy and not knowing what it is, might react to it, causing a problem.

i told someone i liked them and it didnt go anywhere from there and it makes things awkward but thats if only 1/2the story comes out.

Whatever you do, do not say LOVE! That can freak a girl out since the two of you aren't going out yet, Just let her know that you have feelings for her but like I said don't use the LOVE word.

Also, I have a small guideline to go by in terms of asking someone out after a breakup, which is. "For every 3 months they have gone out, Give it 1 week before asking out"
(Ex Couple has gone out for 6 months, give it 2 weeks before asking that person out.)
Exception to the guideline, if the person is "high on the market" (meaning, many people like this person) then it becomes, its whenever you feel is right
