Intimidating

Ok so right now i'm in grade 10. There are a group of people that i would like to hang out with. The group i hang with right now are alright. They are kinda immature and are kinda annoying. SO this other group i know almost everyone of them individually. We get along great i have them all on xbox and such. But i don't know how to hang out with them. Do i find a good friend then just follow him or what? Will they accept me? I don't go out drinking much but i do. I've never gotten blown out of my mind wasted, but some of them do. But i still like them at school

Why bother forcing yourself into a clique? Hang out with the friends you like in whatever group.

Be glad for the friends that you have. Forget about cliques and value the people that are in your life.

If you know them all personally, this means you must've actually hung out with them a lot right? You must be reasonably comfortable around them, so just ask offhandedly if they're doing anything after school or on the weekend and take it from there.

Before you do this though, take an honest look at why you want to hang out with them so much versus hanging out with the friends you've already made.
Is it because they're better friends, or is because they're cooler and they drink?
You shoudn't, at any stage, have to ditch your old friends to fit in with the new ones anyway.
