I was just wondering how many of you would consider going to a fetish fair if there were one on near you.

There is one in London and it's on a few times a year.
Part of me really wants to go just because I am curious. I would love to see what it's like and to feel the atmosphere as the London one is supposed to be very relaxed and friendly.
The other part of me would be...oh, dare I say it! lol...working out what I would like to buy/try out when I can afford to.

Ahh, I fear I may have wandered off the point lol. So, I'll shut up for now.

But, how many of you would be the slightest bit curious?

For me, it would depend on the actual fair. They all kind of vary a bit, I'm sure. If I heard of one in my area, maybe it would have an emphasis on something I'm not really into, but there could be one somewhere else which might be more my style. I have just now googled the fetish fair in London, so I have an idea of the kind of thing we're talking here. There's no harm in going, looking around, it's probably a good way to find out if you're really interested in that sort of thing. If you haven't already, do a little research on this specific fair, any specific events and such to be aware of (things you want to check out, things you don't want to check out, things you've never heard of, etc.), and see what you think. If you're still interested in going, by all means check it out. You might discover something new about yourself. I might suggest bringing a friend though, in case you don't feel 100% comfortable once you're there, that sort of environment could be a little overwhelming at first.

What exactly is a fetish fair?

I'll tell you about the London fetish fair as, to be perfectly honest, it is the only one I really know about.

It's set up in much the same way as a very large market. The items for sale cover a number of activities like bondage, sado-masochism, domination and submission etc. There are food and drinks stands too. But, it is more than just a market. It is a place for people to socialise with others who share similiar interests.

The thing that has struck me about the London fetish fair is that loads of people have commented on how friendly and laid-back it is. They (unlike some others) don't have a particular dress-code. You could wear your normal, day-to-day gear or you could get all dressed up in fetish clothing. They don't care.

Yeah...no...I haven't even dared to go to a porn shop yet...nor do I really think I will. I'm barely comfortable having sex, so yeah...fetishes would be way too much for me...
