Ok so being the lame person i am. I looked up symptoms of depression and like i basically have all the symptoms lol. I didn't really think i had depression. I mean i get depressed but i dont know...
Anyways, i took a few depression screening tests online. Ofcourse its not an actual diagnoses and such. But like all of them either i get a high score or its severe depression or on the borderline of severe depression.
Should i take these online quizzes seriously and get help? Because if i got help, im not holding anything in, i honestly have nothing to say to them.

Seeing as you feel depressed at times and self harm, I really would recommend counselling.

I would recommend that you seek professional help. Don't self diagnose because tests and the internet can often be misleading and cause people to display psychsymantic symptoms and hypochondriatic behaviors. But, anyway, I highly suggest that you seek professional assistance.

"I am a man, Jesus was a man, therefore I am Jesus".
You believe that? It's called a 'truism', something that's 'true' for all people who fit the basic description, yet not at all accurate.
Something as complex as a mental health diagnosis cannot really be done online, anonymously, with a 'checklist'. You need to be examined in person by a trained professional, who can interpret your responses based on his training and experience and overall qualifications to do so at the actual interview of you at the time you're answering these questions.
At best, these 'checklists' can alert you to some potential warning signs, to confirm what you probably know about yourself anyway, and at worst they can unnecessarily frighten you. If you feel depressed a lot, and it gets in your way, then turn the PC off and tell your folks and get to a doctor who can accurately assess and treat you.
