Background on 2 Screens

Alright so after I got this new laptop which has Vista and plugged in my other screen. On my other laptop I could just set up the picture I used as a background so that it was the exact resolution as the total resolution of both of my screens and I'd put it on tile.

I tried doing the same thing on Vista but it just tiles the background on each screen and not both of them at once.

Any idea on how to have an extended desktop on Vista?

Nope didn't help, it just tells me how to choose what I want the other monitor to do which I already know how to do.
