I Hate ritelin

when i was in 5-8th grade i would take ritelin and it would make me sick. Now my doctor wants me to take more and double the dosage.....dont think u really care, but does anyone have any ways not to make it make you feel sick, it would mak eme wanna throwup

tell your doctor ritalin makes you sick, there are other drugs that work the same way that might not make you sick,

Have you ever stopped taking it for any length of time? How did you feel during that time?

If you are physically better off the medication, then get off of it. There are PLENTY of other things that can increase concentration.

well, i stopped taking it for about two years, and i the stuff went away, my doctor says its just a side effect but she says we can try and change it, so i am going to get it changed

Well, if a doctor recomends it, people might try it before figuring out how bad it can be.

I had a friend who was forever taunted for how short he was. He was very immature both physically and mentally. Then, a few years ago, he shot up, and went from a little 4 foot teenager who looked 8 years old kid into the teenager he was supposed to be. The transformation was amazing. I asked him a few months ago why he isn't short or anything.

It turns out he was on ritelin. As soon as he got off of it, he started growing as he was supposed to. You can definitely tell that it has had a very negative effect on his physical self, and his mental self isn't as good as I know it could have been. That's just one of the reasons why I'm not a fan of ritelin.

um idk ritalin was fine for me concerta made me angry, stratera made me depressed and i lost my apatite and i couldnt get to sleap and i woudl throw up and always feel sick, and i cant remember what else i took...
