For the past four years (I'm 16, by the way), my discharge has had a strong odour and is coloured (white to yellow). I just thought it was one of the downsides to puberty. But for the past year I've been becoming more and more concerned, as I realize that no other girls smell like I do, and show no discomfort like me when wearing tight jeans.

So I'm thinking it could be vaginitis, but I don't know.

The answer is likely to be blatantly obvious, but...
Should I tell my mom and doctor about it?

Like everyone else, Y-E-S-!
You should tell you mom about it, because if it is something, its always best to catch it early.

You should definitely go and see your Doctor, it sounds like a simple script of some antibiotics can clear up the symptoms you are describing. If you are really that worried (and you sould like you are), it is a good idea to tell your mum.
Mum's a good at helping us girls out with things like this... and she won't make you feel embarrassed.
Go ahead and get this sorted so you can not worry!

I agree with everyone. A doctor must be the right one to tell

I would go to the doctor only he can say with 100% certainty what is going on with your body.
