I wrote this like... I dunno almost a year ago? Just felt like sharing something. I don't really like this anymore though, now that I read it again. Oh wells.

These chains that bind me
Easily breakable
But so is my will
My spirit suppressed
By the holder of my chains
These chains that bind me
Fade when away from him
But at the smallest hint of rebellion
Come forth strong as ever
I see no escape
These chains that bind me
Like an obedient puppy
I resent them so
With all of my being
But this isn’t enough to break
These chains that bind me
At times they seem to weaken
But as I try to pull away
I’m met by a harsh reprimand
And a sharp jerk of the chain
These chains that bind me
In this futile battle
Is there a way for me to be free?
Maybe a light will come along
To pierce this darkness and free me from
These chains that bind me…
